On February 3, 2024, Madison and Logan’s love story culminated in a beautiful garden party wedding at Cross Creek Ranch, a picturesque venue perfectly reflecting the lush greenery they envisioned for their special day. But this enchanting celebration was more than just a wedding; it was the culmination of a love story that began on the first day of freshman year of college.
Madison and Logan’s journey began in a Swahili class, where they met as freshmen. Little did they know, their love for each other and for the language would intertwine in the most beautiful way. They became fast friends, spending countless hours together—whether it was grabbing lunch between classes, studying late into the night, or cheering on Logan’s football team together, with Madison as the captain of the cheer team.
Despite their different backgrounds—Madison hailing from Ohio and Logan from Florida—their connection only grew stronger. When Logan invited Madison to visit him over Christmas break, little did they know that it would be the beginning of forever. Logan, ever the romantic, didn’t explicitly tell his parents that Madison was more than just a “friend” visiting. But three days into her week-long stay, he couldn’t contain his feelings any longer and asked Madison to be his girlfriend. From that moment on, Madison and Logan were inseparable. They navigated the ups and downs of college life together, and when Madison landed her dream job in Logan’s hometown of Florida, they knew their love was meant to last a lifetime. Five months after moving in together, Logan popped the question, and four months later, they became homeowners.
Their journey led them to the magical day of February 3, 2024, where they exchanged vows in a garden party wedding surrounded by family and friends. The venue, Cross Creek Ranch, provided the perfect backdrop for their love story to unfold, with its sprawling gardens and rustic charm perfectly complementing their vision.
Every detail of their wedding day—from the stunning floral arrangements to the expertly curated playlist—played a part in creating an atmosphere of love and joy. And as they exchanged vows, Madison and Logan unknowingly ended their promises to each other in Swahili, a beautiful nod to the language that brought them together all those years ago.
Their garden party wedding wasn’t just a celebration of their love—it was a testament to the journey they had embarked on together and the adventures that lay ahead.
Family photos are like time capsules, preserving fleeting moments as cherished memories that will be treasured for years to come. However, anyone who’s tried to get a family with young kids to pose for a traditional photo session knows it can be... quite a task and I can personally agree with this. There’s a certain magic in capturing the love of a couple in a place as enchanting as the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens in Miami, FL. Recently, I had the honor of photographing Samantha and Evan, a couple whose love story is as unique as the...
